Project Posidonia · Mallorca
750 seedlings, 40 new buoys.
The Mallorca team has just installed 40 new eco-mooring buoys for Project Posidonia, the underwater meadow restoration project we partnered on in 2023.
Posidonia seagrass absorbs CO₂ 15 times faster than rainforest, but it has been disappearing for decades due to anchor damage. These buoys protect existing beds while we replant new ones.
